This piece was created for HOUDINI UNCHAINED: The Legacy of Harry Houdini exhibition, shown at Muzeo Museum & Cultural Center in Anaheim, California. October 2022.
My inspiration behind this piece was the love Houdini had for his sweet wife, Beatrice, or “Bess” as he called her. She was his stage assistant for many years, and would help with his performances…often secretly slipping him a key…🗝🖤🎀
